The Avatar's Sacrifice and the Phoenix's Flight
On the 19th of Lupar, year 1003, Myrddin D'Ischai recounted before an assembled audience the events surrounding Lady Aurora's gravely wounding at the hands of Pazuzu, who turned the War Veil and three Divine weapons against Aurora, Deucalion, and Prospero when They moved to bring Him to justice. To answer that wound, Atalkez Al'Jafri was raised as Avatar of the Lightbringer and gave his life willingly, while Myrddin channeled every measure of Aurora's essence from his Scintilla into him before the rite. The sacrifice called forth a Greater Phoenix that shook mountains, lit the heavens, and burned the soldiers of the Eldritch Empire in Ashtan to ash before proceeding to Aurora and healing Her.

Promises in the Ka'doloki Sand
Cyrene expanded into Ka'doloki at Lord Neraeos's command, and when a tritonic guard slew a fisherman named Renu, Cyrenians worked to make amends, culminating in a funeral, a sculpted memorial, and a public punishment by salt whip. In the charged aftermath of that sentence, Elder Nhamdi declared the triton deserved his fate, and Neraeos struck the Elder dead before the statue, slaying most of the village besides and shattering the Paragon's sworn promise of protection. Time passed, wounds were tended, and the Lord eventually returned to heal what He had broken, but the port now stands beside a village that will never be what it was.

The Vigil Bestowed
A solemn knight recounts a chilling summons where he and his order were unknowingly judged by an ancient, unseen standard rooted in their lineage. Though deemed merely “adequate,” the judgment affirms that their legacy still holds, and that their actions in obscurity mattered. The Vigil they are granted is not an honour, but a sacred obligation to uphold the watch kept by those who came before.

On Sacred Suffering
On the nature of Suffering When we hear the word suffering, most of us instinctively recoil. We tend to think of pain and loss, of wounds we would rather not reopen — but what Lady Aurora teaches us is not suffering as punishment or cruelty
